Say hello to golden retrievers Betsy and Rosa once you arrive at The Betsy – South Beach. The pair have been a feature at the front door and around the hotel, bringing smiles and a feeling of home to everyone they meet.
Every Friday, Betsy and Rosa will take control over the social media account of the hotel to provide you with a pup’s perspective of life at The Betsy in a series that is introduced as “The Petsy”. The CEO (Canine Executive Officers) has agreed to take time out of their hectic schedules to host a live event to be aired on Facebook.
What is “The Petsy” all about?
The Betsy – South Beach is more than just a place to relax and rest, it is a focal point for arts and culture. It is a family home, adorned with personal heirlooms that exude a charming vibe, ideal for community events and special gatherings.
The best part is that The Betsy is also the main playground for Betsy and Rosa. No one knows the hotel better than the pair. As a way to share what Betsy and Rosa know about the hotel, you can glimpse on The Betsy from a different perspective – from a GoPro strapped on Betsy and Rosa.

Introducing Betsy and Rosa
Betsy is a four-year-old red golden retriever. She is an expert when it comes to The Betsy since she is familiar with every corner of this famous hotel.
Rosa is a one-year-old English cream golden retriever and the lovable sidekick of Betsy. She is still learning more about the hotel.
You might also hear about the late, great Katie during the event. She is the original CEO (Canine Executive Officer) of The Betsy. She has explored the hotel for over a decade, showcasing several videos and tidbits that her friend Betsy will share.
