Sunset at the Zoo Returns for a Wild Summer at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens

Sunset at the Zoo is back for summer 2025, bringing after-hours excitement, cultural celebration, and community connection to the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens. With Orlando Health stepping in as this year’s presenting sponsor, the long-standing tradition promises another season of memorable evenings beneath the Central Florida sky.

Sunset at the Zoo

Taking place on the fourth Friday of each month from May through September, Sunset at the Zoo transforms the grounds into a vibrant evening escape, with themed programming, food trucks, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. Each event highlights a different cultural heritage, reflecting the rich diversity of Central Florida’s communities.

“Sunset at the Zoo continues to grow into something special for our guests,” said Richard E. Glover, CEO of Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens. “We’re proud to team up with Orlando Health to create a space where culture, community, and conservation meet in meaningful and exciting ways.”

Here’s a look at the 2025 Sunset at the Zoo schedule and cultural spotlights:

  • May 23: Native American & Alaska Native Heritage
  • June 27: LGBTQ+ Pride
  • July 25: Black & African American Heritage
  • August 22: Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage
  • September 26: Hispanic Heritage

TD Bank is sponsoring this year’s entertainment, adding even more energy to the night with performances that complement each celebration. Guests can enjoy music, dancing, and interactive experiences that bring cultural storytelling to life.

The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and continues until sunset, with last admission at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are affordably priced at $6 online or $8 at the gate, and a $44 Family 4-Pack — which includes four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas — is available exclusively online.

Quibulah Graham, Senior Director of Minority Business Development at Orlando Health, shared the organization’s enthusiasm for supporting the series: “Sunset at the Zoo reflects our shared values of inclusivity, education, and community wellness. We’re honored to play a part in making this event accessible and enriching for all.”

Whether you’re visiting for the culture, the animals, or the festive summer atmosphere, Sunset at the Zoo is your opportunity to experience the zoo in a whole new light.
