“Had a great overnight in Asheville at HI Blue Ridge Parkway. We arrived around noon and got a great recommendation for lunch from the front desk. While we were having lunch at the East Village Grill, the front desk called to let us know our room was ready, so we checked in early. The room was like old time HI with upgrades and it was spotless clean. We spent the afternoon on the Blue Ridge Parkway beginning with the Southern Highland Craft Guild, Folk Art Center, where they have lots of beautiful wood art, quilts and other pieces from guild member artists. Had dinner at the Wildfire Grill in the hotel. It was awesome. Very unusual to have such a nice dining experience in a hotel these days.”
“Cozy setting with stone accents, trees, and an always-on fireplace. The premises are well maintained. A few misses though: no regular cleaning, you have to request and even then it’s cursory. The pool closes at 10 pm and does not open until 10 am. That is the only outdoor place you can sit and gather. So our large group of multiple families had a difficult time gathering at the end of our busy days anywhere in the hotel. But staff was friendly, the area is nice and clean and seemed safe. It was only 10 minutes from downtown Asheville which was convenient.”
“I had an excellent stay at this Holiday Inn! I am very impressed with the care the owners have taken with this property. This property has a ton to offer and is reasonably priced. The building is clean and updated throughout. The amenities include: ample parking, updated lobby with reclaimed barn wood, a bar and grille onsite, snack area, gym, conference center, outdoor pool and patio, mountain views, dog water station inside the lobby, coffee bar and hiking trail! With all of this to offer, I had to find out more since this property seemed a notch above all of the other Holiday Inn properties. The front staff told me the building underwent a full $7.5 renovation in 2016. It definitely shows!”
“This was the first place we stop.on our honeymoon. We were greeted with a small and great stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. Other than the kind staff, the food in the restaurant was amazing! My husband had the pork chop and I had the salmon. The flavors were like a 5 star restaurant quality!
