As the second hotel in Germany and the first in Frankfurt, it boasts a 128-room urban-style which is situated in the center of the emerging Gallus district in Germany well-known for its factories and converted warehouses. The area now houses an extensive array of theaters and music venues.

Morgen Interiors which is a Frankfurt-based company pioneered the design by crafting an enthralling urban aesthetic that skillfully reflects the open-minded culture of Frankfurt while encouraging freedom and fun which is inspired by the motto of the hotel – “life is crazy”.

According to John Licence, the VP Premium and Select Brands Europe, Marriott International, the company is ecstatic to welcome this vibrant new hotel which is part of a budding global family of independent hotels by Tribute Portfolio that are drawn together by their passion for fascinating design along with the drive to produce a vibrant social atmosphere for the guests. The Gekko House is set to become a hot spot for both guests and locals with its distinctive and multicultural design, warm service and dynamic ambiance at the Chicago Williams restaurant and bar.

The overall design of Gekko House

The guest rooms at Gekko House boasts a combination of bare concrete walls with wooden floors, olive green furniture, hand-blown glass lighting fixtures, and plush velvet seating.

In every room, it is equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows with scenic skyline views across the only skyscraper city in Germany. Additionally, the hotel boasts a Marshall Music Box, Gekko House curated city guide, Nespresso coffee machine as well as services by Australian organic skincare brand Grown Alchemist.

On the ground floor, there is a cozy passage leading to the hotel entrance in which cherry wood paneling meets deep olive furnishings along with charming tapestries.

In the lobby of the hotel, you can find The Gekko Spati where you can choose from a selection of artisanal beverages and snacks as well as gadgets and local souvenirs that are worth checking out.

At the center of Gekko House, you will find Chicago Williams which is a restaurant and bar. It boasts a Berlin-born BBQ concept that was formed back in 2012 by Nawid Samawat.
