As we write this article, Valentine’s Day 2019 is just around the corner. As love is in the air, we decided to write something specifically for the couples that read our blog.  But if you are reading this in summer, for example, it can still be just what you are looking for. Whenever you want to do something special for your significant other, you can come back and see these great vacation spots for ideas. You could save it in your favorites toolbar and try to visit them all!

America is such a large country that it has practically everything you could possibly want to experience as a couple. With romantic cities, amazing hiking trails, wine regions and so much more there is no need to look any further.

Enjoy the Snow of North Conway, New Hampshire

For the couples who love to ski, then visit New England for a great snow experience.  North Conway is a beautiful small town close to the Canadian border and has a huge section of budget and luxurious resorts offering both alpine and cross-country skiing. To start planning your couple’s getaway visit Ski NH. In between skiing sessions be sure to visit the Conway Scenic Railroad and the Weather Discovery Centre.

All aboard in Napa, California

Napa is famous for its wine region but it has plenty more to offer every couple that visits, this charming and romantic city. Strolling the streets of Napa, hand in hand, you’ll experience amazing architecture, a lovely market, and a riverfront promenade. Napa also has a vintage railway with a “Wine Train.” It offers a special ‘Romance of the Rails’ package, this includes a 3-hour evening journey, with a gourmet dinner, and of course plenty of wine.

Outdoor Couples Adventure in Sedona, Arizona

Those who love the great outdoors need to visit Sedona, Arizona sometime during their relationship. The vibrant red rocks and strong green forest trees create the perfect surrounding for hikes and bike trips. If you want an adrenaline boost, take an off-road adventure tour in a Jeep. After your day outside, you can relax together in one of the deluxe spas, within the city. A couple’s massage, a swim in a pool and sitting in a sauna are great ways to finish your day.

Smell the Cherry Blossom in Washington D.C.

Any patriotic couple must have the country’s capital Washington D.C. on their bucket list. Not only does the city have a wealth of historical information to absorb in fun ways, but the parks that surround the many monuments and memorials are also simply beautiful.

Cruise down Route 66, USA

Drive down one of the most famous roads in the world together, Route 66. Plan ahead and create an eclectic soundtrack, including a few romantic ballads. A few days in the car together will most likely make your relationship stronger and you’ll create some amazing memories. Be sure to take a rest stop at the Petrified Forest National Park, the Grand Canyon and Twin Arrows Trading Post. If you have time for a minor detour, visit Nevada State Route 375 aka Extra-terrestrial highway.

Relax in Maui, Hawaii

Hawaii is a paradise! If you are celebrating an important anniversary or special occasion this is the dream location. The landscape and high quality of the luxurious resorts in Hawaii will make blow your mind. Whilst in Hawaii, relax on the beach, enjoy water sports, visit a volcano but most importantly spend quality time together as a couple.
